 Minimum 2-Week Cancellation Policy
Making a reservation with the Lake Roy Beach Inn is not the same as making a hotel reservation. Due to our intimate size and limited lodging capacity, cancellations affect us significantly. A last minute cancellation gives us little chance of re-booking a room. For this reason we uphold a strict cancellation policy:
Cancellations must be made 2 weeks prior to the arrival date. If a reservation is not cancelled and the guest does not arrive (No Show), then 1 NIGHT ROOM & SALES/TOURISM TAX CANCELLATION PENALTY-AS FIRST NIGHT PAYMENT will be charged to the credit card used to guarantee the reservation.
It is not uncommon for us to reach our daily maximum and have to turn guests and other reservations away. When we accept and confirm your reservation that portion of our limited capacity is then unavailable to other guests and groups. Many of the costs associated with your reservation are committed long before you arrive. These costs are unrecoverable if you cancel. For this reason, we strictly adhere to our cancellation policy; reservation cancellations must be made 2 weeks prior to the arrival date. Late cancellations and no shows are therefore ineligible for any type of reimbursement and will be charged 1 NIGHT ROOM & SALES/TOURISM TAX CANCELLATION PENALTY-AS FIRST NIGHT PAYMENT to the credit card used to guarantee the reservation.
Please note that small inns of our size would not be able to remain in business if we did not adhere to our cancellation policy. Therefore, there are no exceptions to our cancellation policy, whether it be for reasons of sickness, family emergency or weather. With this in mind, guests may want to consider the purchase of trip cancellation insurance which is commonly available from travel agents, insurance agents or via the internet at such websites as www.insuremytrip.com.
Confirming Reservations
Upon request, letters will be sent to the guest if the arrival date is greater than 7 business days, otherwise we can fax or email a confirmation. All reservations are guaranteed by credit card. Should a guest wish to give a check as payment, it must be for the full amount of room and tax for the entire stay, made out to the Lake Roy Beach Inn and received no later than 7 business days prior to the arrival date.
Guestroom Rates
All room rates do not include a Sales & Tourism Tax of 12.00%. All rates are subject to change and availability.
Maximum Occupancy
Based on Single or Double occupancy (Based on 1 or 2 guests). All rates are per room per night and subject to a Sales & Tourism Tax of 12.00%. Each additional person is $10.00 per room, per night.
Boat Docking, On-Land Boat Parking and Launching Fees
We offer a private concrete boat launch ramp, water-docking space, and on-land parking space for a fee of $10/day per boat. All rates are subject to change.
Guarantee Policy
A credit card number is required to confirm AND guarantee your reservation.
Deposits & Refunds
Reservations must be secured by a 1 NIGHT DEPOSIT at the time of
booking. Your deposit is only refundable upon cancellation no later
than 2 weeks prior to arrival. If not cancelled in 2 weeks, or if
the guest does not arrive (No Show), your deposit of 1 NIGHT DEPOSIT is non-refundable.
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed in the guestrooms.
Pets
Absolutely NO PETS allowed.
